Proenza Schouler for Target....

I have to admit I haven't paid much attention to this addition to Target's GO International line even through the buzz for it has been intense on the fashion blogs. It is obviously aimed at the teen through 20s woman with bright, bright colors and short, short skirts - cute for the young but not exactly what I'd be wearing!

But - surprise! - seems it pays not to discount any fashion line:

I really like the subtle print on this sweater - it's just the kind of item that, thrown over a navy turtleneck and pencil or a-line skirt for work, causes the best kind of double take look - that "is that a little different?" look from others. (One of the comments on this sweater is that it is too "matronly" - but I suspect it's from one of those 20 somethings who's not quite facing the "real" working world quite yet!)


It's still available on-line, but only in x-large (which gladdens MY heart!).
