I was so inspired by that Newport News purple trench that I hoped over to Polyvore and created a set based on it...

Urban Balmicann Trench in Silver Birch Toile


Yes the coat is every bit as adorable as it looks in the pic! The toile pattern is lovely and the subtle silver birch color makes it just enough floral without being over powering. The material is a nice, heavy weight cotton. It fits me like a dream and, yes, on me it comes down to my mid-knee which is perfect! I've already received many complements on it.

It's not a coat for very cool days, but it is the perfect coat to wear when the temp is between 60 and 70 and you just want a light, good looking coat to wear out.

Ah Isaac, I'll say it again - I'm going to miss you when you've finally left Target!

I've been seeing quite a few of these new shorter versions of the trench and I must admit I'm taking a liking to it. It definitely gives a bit more polish than the, admittedly, dependable windbreaker! ;-)
