Second City Style....

Has an interesting post on Gap Inc's plans for it's stores...

Gap Inc. Plans to Revamp Old Navy, Make Banana Global

I'm very happy to hear that Old Navy is back in the front office's good graces. Many month's ago I'd read an article that indicated their intention to close that division down - I was not happy! As you know if you read here often, I think Old Navy is their most accessible brand for most folks, with a wide selection of clothes for just about everyone, including the plus size woman that they pretend does not exist when it comes to their other brands. (And I've never forgiven them for closing down Forth and Towne!)

I look forward to what they have in store for Old Navy and all the Gap brands.

Business wise they do need to consolidate to survive. Once they ride thru this recession, then they can specialize again.

I'm happy to hear about Old Navy, too. They have great, well-fitting jeans that don't require the sale of an internal organ to cover the purchase price.

Well it's great to hear that Old Navy would not be closed, besides I am more than sure that Old Navy makes a lot of money, they are very popular, cute styles, not to expensive and comfortable. I lover buying all my boys clothes from their.
