Marc Jacobs Fall 2008 RTW....

You know you have an interesting personality on your hands when the lead headline for his collection is the fact that he managed to start the runway show on time! ;- )

And the collection isn't half bad either....

I hope to God that this is not a jumpsuit! But I include it because I like the cut.

I like the way he moved away from all the solemn colors everyone else seemed to be showing for fall. In fact, he just about goes Easter for Fall!

Calvin Klein by Franciso Costa Fall 2008 RTW....

VERY interesting collection!...

Talk about structured minimalism! Wearing some of these pieces would almost be like wearing something designed by Mies van der Rohe (Hey, can't help it - I'm a Chicago girl!). But the lines of these pieces are just amazing, giving the kind of tailoring structure that favors the 50+ gal!

Ralph Lauren Fall 2008 RTW...

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Ralph L. And he doesn't disappoint - plenty of pieces for the 50+ lady to incorporate into her wardrobe...

A cadre of fabulous jackets!...

Delicious coats!...

And yes, some lovely dresses...

Isaac Mizrahi Fall 2008 RTW....

If you read here often, you already know of my love of Isaac M.....

Yeah, I'm not sure about that high waist either - but I has happy to see Isaac's trademark colors!

To be honest, I thought this collection was a little restrained
for my guy - he usually has a bit more mischievousness in his work!

Still everything above has me very much looking forward to what he will do for the Liz C. line!
